Key Documents at Releasing Potential

The Attendance Policy is the key document outlining how Releasing Potential works to ensure children and young people (“pupils”) are supported to access the education they deserve.
The Attendance Policy is reviewed each summer but there are usually only minor changes to this policy. Any major changes to this policy will be sent as an email to all staff. You do not need to re-read this annually, but please be aware of its contents and any major changes as advised.

The Behaviour Management Policy sets out the processes in school for dealing with challenging behaviour consistently and fairly. It contains details on our no-restraint approach as well as our systems of rewards and sanctions.

The Whistleblowing Policy sets out how we deal with concerns from our own staff about:
* Other members of staff including managers and senior leadership
* The organisation’s own practices and policies
The policy sets out how staff should raise a concern, including those that relate to the safety of students and staff.

The Health & Safety Policy sets out our obligations, as both a school and an employer, to keep our buildings and resources safe for use.
The policy includes details on how accidents and incidents should be reported, and what provisions are made for First Aid across the organisation.
Staff must read this document once on induction and know where a copy is kept for reference.
